Our Fort Myers intensive outpatient program is convenient to Lee, Charlotte, and Collier Counties. IOP promotes healthy coping skills and independence while still providing moderate support. Moreover, patients typically live at home or in nearby sober living while joining valuable group and individual therapy sessions that offer bridge-support as patients transition back to everyday life. Whether you completing residential treatment or partial hospitalization, IOP helps to normalize patient’s lives in recovery.
Why Intensive Outpatient?
Benefits of IOP
IOP is an addiction treatment modality that provides intensive, coordinated therapy while allowing patients to live independently. IOP offers patients the opportunity to:
- Rehearse new coping and life skills – One of the most principal features of treatment is learning how to apply new skills to everyday situations.
- Establish a support network – In IOP, you’ll join people who are in early recovery and be introduced to 12-step support groups locally.
- Flexibility – IOP provides a balance between recovery structure and flexibility to allow you to live your daily life while still attending treatment.
- Individual care – We understand that every person’s experience with addiction is unique. Our Fort Myers intensive outpatient program is tailored to meet your individual needs.
- Life skills – We’ll teach you how to live joyous life on life’s terms.
- Relapse prevention – You’ll discover approaches to stop dangerous thinking and associated addiction triggers.
