Dr Ibrahim received his medical degree from the University of Cairo Faculty of Medicine in Egypt specializing in Adult and Geriatric psychiatry. He furthered his medical education in pursuit of his passion in psychiatry and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in the state of Ohio and completed his psychiatry residency at Metro Health Medical Center.
Dr Ibrahim has been a practicing physician for over 40 years. Initially, in private practice setting in general practice, allowing him to serve his patients holistically. His career involved a variety of different healthcare milieus which includes acute, ambulatory and, as a consultant to post-acute care settings.
Dr Ibrahim has 25 years of clinical psychiatric experience with the mental health and substance use disorders populations. Dr Ibrahim expertise also, includes psychiatric emergency crisis intervention for many local hospital emergency departments.
His specializes in, mood, anxiety ,and neuropsychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology (use of medication for the treatment of mental health issues) for treatment resistant conditions. As well as medication management for adults with persistent chronic mental and substance use disorders.
Dr. Ibrahim, in collaboration with a team of medical and clinical professionals at Celadon Recovery, provides ongoing clinical care for the residents on their journey of wellness and recovery ensuring resident center metrics are achieved.
