Addiction and Mental Health Treatment with Ambetter Insurance

Celadon Accepts Ambetter Insurance for Addiction and Mental Health Treatment

Addiction and mental health services can feel scary with many people worrying about how they will pay for treatment costs.

Whether you are covered by a group plan or the Affordable Care Act, your Ambetter health plan covers substance use & mental health treatment. This includes HMO or PPO plans for all levels of care. Many rehab centers are in-network with various insurance plans for their clients.

Celadon Recovery is proud to be in network with Ambetter’s network. Depending our your policy, you may have zero cost, co-payments, or coinsurance through their Ambetter insurance policy. Call us today at 239-266-2141 and we can verify your coverage in minutes.

Understanding Your Ambetter Coverage for Mental Health Disorders

Navigating rehab coverage can be confusing, particularly if you’ve never received mental health services or previously attended substance abuse treatment. Many people find it challenging to understand what their insurance policy will and will not cover.

You can start by contacting your insurance company directly. Ask for specific clarification on your policy and the fees you will incur for substance and mental health treatment.

You can also contact our program’s admissions counselors. We work closely with insurance companies and can verify your policy quickly.

Take your first step towards recovery.

Health Insurance Terminology

You probably receive health insurance through your or a loved one’s employer. You might also receive coverage through the open marketplace. You may qualify for Medicaid or other state-funded services if facing financial hardship.

Health insurances are categorized into four tiers: platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. These tiers distinguish total costs. However, they don’t determine the quality of care or treatment available.

Unless it’s covered by an employer, consumers pay for insurance monthly through their premiums. You may not notice this cost if it comes out of your paycheck directly (but it will be reflected on your paystub).

Deductible: Your deductible is the amount you must pay out-of-pocket before insurance kicks in. Some treatment providers will create a financial plan for clients with high deductibles.

Coinsurance: Coinsurance refers to the percentage of the cost of service. So, if you have 40% coinsurance, and the service cost was $1000, you are responsible for paying $400.

Copay: Copay refers to the designated amount you pay for a particular service or type of care. For example, seeing a primary care physician may cost you a $30 copay.

In-network: In-network means the provider can bill your insurance to render services. If you plan to use your insurance to subsidize costs, working with treatment providers who accept your insurance plan is essential. If you have a PPO, you may be able to visit providers out of your network. This option is usually not offered to HMO policyholders.

What Kinds of Addiction Treatment Services Are Covered By Insurance Benefits?

Insurance often covers numerous types of behavioral health treatments. Here are some of the following services that you may receive coverage from.

Medical Detox

Detoxification is a period of medical stabilization, and it is especially important if you using alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or stimulants.

Inpatient / Residential Treatment

Residential care provides the highest level of clinical care for substance use disorders. Residential treatment is the preferred treatment of choice for people who need support and monitoring to overcome their addiction.

IOP and Outpatient Treatment

Effective treatment isn’t just about succeeding in a structured program. It’s about thriving once you complete your care. That’s why outpatient services are so essential for ensuring your success.

Dual-Diagnosis Support For Behavioral Health

Many people also experience mental illness like depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, eating disorders, or schizophrenia.

Dual diagnosis treatment services vary, but they may include working with specific healthcare professionals, psychiatric medication, and other behavioral health recommendations.
